I preach this all the time. "You can build a proper wine cellar anywhere". Well look at this one . A window in the middle of the room..not a good thing! Also had a sump pump on the left side of the room! So what you do? You  call in the experts and all is possible! Now check out the finished photo and you will see a big difference. The racks are natural redwood. Gives it that great look! The window had insulation installed over it, with a room darking film. The sump pump, a necessary evil, was insulated and siliconed in. The walls were all insulated and proper vapor barrier. Then silicone was also applied where the wall meets the floor.  All things that need to be done to make it a proper Wine Cellar.
